how many times do you listen to your pimsleur lessons? I just started about 4 days ago,
and i'm only on the third lesson, i've been listening to each lesson 3-4 times, just
wondering how many times everyone else listens to their lessons.

When I went through the Turkish Pimsleur course, I tended to go through 3 lessons a day. But I repeated those lessons at least twice. I would start with lessons 1-3, play them twice, then on the third day go to lessons 2-4 for two days, then the following day lessons 3-5 for two days, etc.
Pimsleur is quite repetitive as it is, so the second and third time around I usually had it playing in the background and just used it to reinforce the previous day's lesson, only repeating certain things when I felt I needed to. I only went into "active" listening mode for the newest lesson.

Once, unless I don't feel confident with pronouncing something, in which case I listen to that part again. However, I add the words to my SRS deck, so I practice them more than just when pimsleur tells me to practice. I'm almost finished with with Korean I and haven't had many problems with remembering even though I only listen once. Also, I only listen to 1 lesson a day, and I tend to spend more than 30 minutes with that lesson since I pause and take notes and occasionally rewind.

How many times? As many as it takes me to feel comfortable that I am really getting it. Some lessons take me longer (i.e more repeats) than do others. BUT I would caution you not to be too concerned with how many times others repeat a lesson. There are people of all different levels and abilities on this forum. If you compare yourself to others you may get discouraged or begin to unconsciously or consciously rush through the lessons. Don't trade true understanding and mastery for speed or boasting rights of how quickly you completed the lessons. I hope this helps.

I completely agree with this. If speed and bragging rights are your goal, you're in it for the wrong reasons.
Not to mention that there will ALWAYS be someone better and faster than you.

Another way to look at this is how many repetitions do you need to properly and automatically say those sentences? From that perspective, the number would zoom up.
Good luck!

Once, maybe twice.
If you listen to something too often, you risk memorising the exact content, rather than learning and generalising the principles of the language behind it.
