Assimil's last Russian course for English speakers was published in the early 1950s. After a sixty-mimble year gap,
the new version (published in February 2012) has arrived. I have it in my hot little hands right now.
So, the big question: do I add it to my daily routine, or not!
At the moment, I am plodding my way through Assimil Italian. As a not terribly gifted (read: damn hopeless)
linguist, exactly how daft would it be to add one lesson of Russian a day?
Hmm. Ponder!

How much time do you have? Much better question than "am I able to?" You're probably not a hopeless linguist either - most people are capable of learning a lingo just fine.

Oh, hello Tarvos!
I wasn't truly expecting a reply. :) It was more a a case of making the concept concrete for myself by writing it
down!
That said, your point is valid. Yes, I have the time. There's just some small voice inside me saying "You're 50, it's
difficult, go make a cup of tea, instead." :)
I will in fact go make that cup of Earl Grey and consider the matter.

Funny! I was just checking out Assimil's website the other day and I didn't even notice a Russian for
English speakers course. Where on the site did you see it?
