I took three semesters, and one quarter of Arabic, only stopping in December of 2011.
Yet I feel as if I forget everything. It's not like Spanish were it gets rusty and I just polish it off - I legit feel like it's gone. Anyone have any ideas how to recover my Arabic? Shukran! (got the greetings and thanks at least) 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||

I'm no expert in Arabic. But maybe you can try looking over some grammar books and

Well, I felt similar with my Japanese studies. I took Japanese for two years in High
School, and didn't really intend on studying it in university, so when I graduated, I took a gap year and didn't read another word of Japanese that whole year. At the beginning of this year, I decided to take up Japanese at Uni, and was very nervous, because I really could not remember it well at all. However, I found once I got into the environment again, read a bit of it, I began to remember it, even though I had a lot of trouble recalling basic grammar structures before taking it up again. Maybe just immerse yourself in Arabic language media for a couple of days, and see what you can remember! Good luck! 1 person has voted this message useful | ||||||
