I took three semesters, and one quarter of Arabic, only stopping in December of 2011.
Yet I feel as if I forget everything. It's not like Spanish were it gets rusty and I
just polish it off - I legit feel like it's gone.

Anyone have any ideas how to recover my Arabic? Shukran! (got the greetings and thanks at
least)

I'm no expert in Arabic. But maybe you can try looking over some grammar books and
listening to some music. If you've learned it once it should come back quite easily.

Well, I felt similar with my Japanese studies. I took Japanese for two years in High
School, and didn't really intend on studying it in university, so when I graduated, I took
a gap year and didn't read another word of Japanese that whole year. At the beginning of
this year, I decided to take up Japanese at Uni, and was very nervous, because I really
could not remember it well at all. However, I found once I got into the environment again,
read a bit of it, I began to remember it, even though I had a lot of trouble recalling
basic grammar structures before taking it up again.

Maybe just immerse yourself in Arabic language media for a couple of days, and see what
you can remember! Good luck!
