Ouch, I hope you will be lucky to have the better ones. The only thing I can say to the
trouble with the bad ones: you must not let such idiots limit you and your education.
They are just another obstacle.

Not if your teacher is a reasonable person and eventually if they know of it and agree.
I had an English teacher (a man who knows many languages, including sanskrit and is a
really inspiring personality), who always said: If the exercise/drill/whatever we do
now is too easy for you, work on something else (under the condition it is English).
(He as well kept saing: "My pronunciation is far from perfect, try to be better. You
can.") And the French teacher allowed my friend to prepare herself for Dalf in the
classes because my friend was way ahead of everyone else thanks to her previous studies
on French school.

I had my language classes today. Thankfully, I've got good teachers for both, but I'm not going to study material on
my own just yet (I'm going to leave it a few weeks to see what rate we're being taught at. I had a quick look
through my Spanish textbook. Thankfully, someone's realised that after three years of study, we might just
need the imperfect tense and the indicative mood!).
What I have been doing though, based on all the advice, is carry sheets of paper with word lists/hiragana lists
that I've written the night before. So, when my Maths teacher is ranting at someone for not having done the
homework, or when I've finished work before others, I write down the words/hiragana to learn them. I've been
thinking in the languages as well, and naming things around me.
Any more advice or experiences, then please share them.
