I'm unable to find the flash card database referenced in the language tips. Clicking on the link just gets me an error page, and downloading the link also downloads an error page. Does anybody have a good french flash-card DB (for English natives), or have the DB that should be on that web page?

Hi mka,
If you are keen on something that will assist in creating paper flash cards (it appears that is what the software on the Tips and Tricks page is oriented towards link), I am not familiar with any software or internet link. I make my own French and Japanese flashcards by hand using 3" x 5" index cards, and I believe that the act of writing them out forms part of the learning process for me.
However, if you would consider an electronic SRS or spaced repetition system approach, I believe there are several suggestions. Try Anki and you should be able to find lots of prepared decks Anki

I've found a lot of worthwhile flashcards there.
