So I've been focusing on pretty much just Portuguese since my last post, its getting addictive! This decision was made as I am supposed to be going seeing my Brazilian friend in September, so it will be good to get some practice in whilst I'm away.
Really trying to improve my memory at the moment too, I can't figure it why it is still quite bad, I've been a lot more active recently and I've been eating better and taking vitamins, however I think it may simply be my very bad sleeping pattern. It's definitely my short term memory that is bad though. Does anyone else have this problem? Been very busy since my last post as I've just got a new job.
I've been doing mostly Mandarin and some Portuguese (crazy I know, I keep switching it up!). To be fair most of my studying has been on Livemocha as I like the fact that you get feedback instantly off people on there. I also watch Secret (2007) with Jay Chou in it which was pretty good! I need to focus on characters again though as I'm forgetting them left right and centre... Furthermore is it just me or are their quite a lot of Mandarin speakers in the UK at the moment, as I usually only see Cantonese speakers but I saw some on the train which was fun to listen in on their conversation and also a girl who I chatted to in the city centre who actually works 5 minutes from where I live! But seriously, I have to be one of the worst learners on here especially in the TAC...But its all good fun even if I am bad at it ;). 1 person has voted this message useful |
