Hi Guys,
When learning Spanish I felt that the only course that was very comprehensive was the courses created by FSI. The
problem I and others have found is that although Comprehensive It had many weaknesses e.g.
- Boring
- Poor quality audio
- Irrelevant language
Given my love of languages and self education, I was thinking of making a course that could be more usable that
makes use of the material from the FSI course but improving on the weaknesses e.g.
- Rerecording all the audio
- Using more relevant language
- Removing “unnecessary details”
All in all I want to build a course that is made of what people want.
The way I was thinking of approaching is like
this:
1) Get some feedback on what people liked and disliked about the original version
2) Build a really rough mock up version
3) Get feedback on likes/dislike
s
4) Apply modifications
5) Repeat steps 1-5 till we have something good.
So I’m pretty much trying to build a course by you guys for you guys. Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks
,
Chris

Platiquemos
Learning Spanish Like Crazy.
They're both updated versions of the original FSI series and both have gotten pretty good reviews here and elsewhere.
