I'm not sure this is his personal aspiration as much as a way of encouraging people to learn languages :-). He explains why its useful and cool.

I try to eliminate the need for superpowers by limiting the number of languages I study. But some kind of time-manipulation skill would be nice. Like being able to transform 1 week of study into 1 year ( without getting older ).

I'd be able to stretch time and travel much wider without the need for transport.
