I've recently come across an interesting looking Chinese course in Spanish, and think my
Spanish is good enough that I might be able to work with it. I've also been eying the
Assimil series in French, which I'm sure I could work through with little effort as far
as understanding the French goes.

I'm thinking this sort of thing would be a good way to practice two languages at once,
one I'm already pretty good at and one I'm still building a base in. Has anyone else had
experience learning a third language with material in a second language? What do you
consider to be the advantages and disadvantages of this technique?
