I often start the day with a cup of hot chocolate and check out the forum before my daughter wakes up. It's a
pleasant way to start the day. I try to follow that up with some actual Spanish. Yes, the time I spend here does cut down on study time, but I've also learned quite a bit. I'd never heard of Assimil before coming to this forum and now I feel just about ready to try Italian using the French-based version. Practicing 2 at once! And it's really nice to communicate with others who share your interest, when so many consider it nerdy/boring/etc. Now back to Destinos and the subjunctive in all its glory! 1 person has voted this message useful | |||

Too much, but I guess the time I use here would be used unproductive anyway. I use it when I take a break from language study or from the reading I have to do for my education.

There's some noise in every forum, so too much, but it's only a bit too much in this forum -> for the most part I consider my time here productive. But I visit completely at random: if I have nothing better to do I can spend a weekend visiting every hour, then stay away for two weeks. I usually visit this forum at least twice a day, even if I don't post anything for a week I still read many threads.
Starting next Wednesday I will be on vacation for 9 days. I'd like this to be a real vacation so I will not use the internet during that time. I know I need a little break but I fear my email inbox will be overflowing with notices from various threads I'm watching.
