I find Troll to be a rather unpleasant-sounding language, personally.

I like both English and French.
French is interesting and beautiful, and English can be very beautiful depending on the speaker's accent.
I like it when girls speak English with the California accent. I also like Cobie Smulder's accent, I know she's Canadian, but can someone tell me what kind of accent she has? What part of Canada is it from?
French is the most beautiful spoken language, but French songs sound odd. English sounds way better, at least in music.

I consider Russian a very beautiful language.
Never heard indonesian, but for me Japanese aswell as Chinese are horrible, especially because of the stress.

For me, Arabic is the second most beautiful language there is, the most beautiful major
world language.

errm. What language set you apart from all your ills.
Imagine yourself back as a five year old, you've had a hard day doing whatever you did, you were tired, perhaps injured - I had a major wound in the eye but just about kept my sight.
Your mother says things - they don't even make sense, they were comforting.
I vote for the language of love - don't care who speaks it!

well... I have thoughts about most of these languages, all purely opinion of course
Mandarin - Extremely beautiful, but in a bitter-sweet way, kind of like a bull dog...
looks beautiful written too
English - functional, not beautiful though
Spanish - lots of culture associated with this language and somewhat beautiful
Hindi - no opinion
Arabic - no opinion
Russian - sounds fun but difficult, and not so much beautiful as it is interesting
French - sorry folks, I don't like how french sounds
Indonesian - no opinion
Portuguese - because I don't have much of a romance language background, it sounds a
lot like Spanish to me, but I'm sure once I get my feet wet in it, Ill have more of an
opinion
Japanese - My personal favorite, sounds very intelligent to me, and to me, intelligence
it beauty, potent at that... I also love the script
Korean - I like the sound of Korean, very appealing, and I cant wait to try it, has a
very beautiful script. in the interesting category the script comes second only to Thai
German - My grandparents Spoke German, so I grew up loving the language, very
beautiful, also smart sounding.
those are my thoughts

Well, it really depends on what aspect of the language you are refering to when you talk about beauty, but I'll assume you are refering to how it sounds.
The languages out of the list posted that I could just listen to because of how they sound are Japanese and Russian. To me, music in these two languages is beautiful.
I also think that the Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic writing systems are beautiful, and chinese and arabic are interesting to me.

I think I'd put blackbirds above sparrows, but yes, birdsong can be really beautiful.
I'm surprised there isn't a little more support for Italian, although I wouldn't say
it's my no. 1, because I don't really think it's a meaningful question in the first
place. It's all so subjective, and in any case, I've only heard a small fraction of the
languages in the world, so there maybe many more beautiful languages out there.
Yes, English can sound beautiful, especially out of the mouths of some of our Celtic
neighbours. And I love listening to recordings of Dylan Thomas reading his own poetry
or prose (one of the few poets I can bear to listen to). Or listen to Richard Burton's
version of Dylan Thomas's famous "Under Milk Wood".
Just a small part of it
Part 1 of UMW read by
Dylan Thomas
(But the audio quality isn't very good in that).
