Does anyone know if there's a list of the places where French in Action was filmed? I've
watched several of the episodes with my kids, and we're going to Paris for a day this summer. I think they'd enjoy seeing some of the places where it was filmed. The Sorbonne is obvious, but that would be boring. But where is the fountain with the big lips? And the park? And any other interesting locations you could think of? It has been a long time since I thought much about FIA but for years it was a huge and beloved part of my life.
These are a few memorable locations in the story that I can think of right off the top of my head: The Medici Fountain in the Jardin du Luxembourg Hotel Home Latin (Robert's hotel) on Rue du Sommerard in the 5th Arrondissement The lion of Belfort statue in the Place Denfert-Rochereau Fouquet's on the Champs-Elysees La Closerie des Lilas The Catacombs La Samaritaine (now sadly closed) I hope these might be helpful.
