I agree about MT, there's most definitely some words that aren't taught in Beginner but
the students seem to know in Advanced, which confused me a little. I also found Advanced a lot more fast-paced than Beginner and so I can't say I've retained everything I learnt; it was more just an introduction to all the verb forms and they're being consolidated with practice. I also appreciate the motivational posts - my Italian was going very smoothly for the first six months, but now I suddenly feel like I'm hitting a wall and I'm getting frustrated, because of the great difficulty of finding opportunities to practise the language and the fact that when I do get the chance I feel like I still have an overwhelming amount of learning and improvement to do. It's a good reminder that I just need to keep up the work and I'll eventually get there. 1 person has voted this message useful |
