They will spend a few days next week andnose time in early summer in Japan to finish the book.

In the next couple of months: http://forum.koohii.com/viewtopic.php?pid=157496#p157496 (19th September) "A few minutes ago I received an e-mail from Tim Richardson informing me that he had just completed his final cross-check of the galleys and would have them back to me later in the day. That means that within 24 hours the Press will have the final files ready for sending to the printer. I do not know what their schedule is, but absolutely within 3 months the book will be out. As soon as I know more, I will post it on the internet site: http://nirc.nanzan-u.ac.jp/publications/miscPublications/Rem embering%20Hanzi%201.htm Incidentally, we discovered a couple of primitives we needed to change and some typos in Book 1 along the way preparing Book 2. I got this message from Mr. Heisig today:
We are informed by the University of Hawaii Press that the books are slated to appear in February. Dr. Richardson and I had not anticipated the added delay, but it looks as if we shall all have to wait another 3 months. As soon as their is more specific information, I will pass it on. J. W.
