Why are you only learning words?
When do you plan to start with grammar? Or maybe phrases and sentences to learn grammar in a passive way. You can get them from http://fsi-language-courses.org/Content.php and put them into Anki(http://ankisrs.net/ ) or an other SRS-System. I struggled with learning Swedish, English and Spanish at the same time, but I always do the Anki reviews. So I know some phrases and words in Spanish without studying it since my A-level exams. At the moment I’m focusing on English. I did a lot of mistakes. Most of them are grammar mistakes. I want to make some progress before I’ll start with Swedish again. It’s a great feeling to write a short text with no mistakes. You’ll be sure that the other person could understand you. It doesn’t matter whether texts or conversations. I found many tips and ideas in this forum take a look in the other logs and you’ll inspire. There are a lot of interesting methods, books and other things. @Josquin I want read some books and audiobooks , yes I can use some basic rules and say some things , examples with three languages:
1.Russian : Нет я не понимаю кто ты ? (No, I don't know who you are ?) 2.Spanish : Yo trabajo con mi hermano en el quiosco. (I work with my brother at the kiosk.) 3.Hebrew : אני לא מלך (I'm not a king.) @Mareike Why are you only learning words? Before learning grammar I prefer know some basic words. When do you plan to start with grammar? When my objectives will be finished. Honestly I like grammar , imagine a phrase nothing grammar , example with very bad grammar : mice cats the eat , the problem of this phrase is who eat who ? They are mice or the cats ? It's only very unusual to see someone who "only" learn words.
So there come up the question how to build sentences. I have seen many theories and techniques in this forum, but noone's like yours. If you think, it will work for you than it's fine. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |||
