So the first week of uni was mostly just revision of what the first 2 units would have offered if I had taken them. 22 pages of poorly photocopied then poorly scanned worksheets from what appeared to be a textbook aimed at 12 year olds.
I'm quite disappointed so far really. After the great materials I have been using for independent study it seems ridiculous that a university standard course would be so poorly presented with such childish materials. At least there's one benefit. I have to submit work weekly so there's no chance to slack off! 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Another gripe about my uni course...for a few days the tutor had everyone freaking out by saying it was week 3 and our first submission was due today...argh! But no, she was wrong.
What a fantastically organised course! At this stage I am finding I mostly need to do a little brushing up on my past tenses (it's more or less there, but some more revision would be good...I'm thinking of whipping out the Platiquemos tonight for a thorough review). Aside from that it's just a bit of new vocab, which I've been entering into the Anki app on my phone so that I can revise each day. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

Okay...time for a bit of Platiquemos!
Unit 31 down...then realised what I was actually after was unit 18. Though thankfully unit 31 was nice and easy! So...unit 18... 18.21.1 and 18.21.11 I'll aim to do more tomorrow :o) 1 person has voted this message useful |
