Just thought I'd let everyone know you can download the Russian version of "Married with Children" called "Счастливы вместе" (Happy Together) here:
http://infostore.org/info/4894068
The show was made quite recently. There are 100 episodes. It's quite good as far as vocabulary goes, good everyday situational type things, the level isn't too difficult and it's a decent representation of Russian as it's spoken today.

I've been using that show too. In fact, I was coming into this thread to tell you about it, so...good work.
И кстати, но ума не приложу, почему the Russians I've mentioned it to seem to dislike it. Admittedly, I've only spoken with a handful of Russians but...whenever I've asked them about funny TV shows, they almost always suggest Comedy Club (sketch comedy on stage).

My wife likes the show. I really dislike Comedy Club. It just seems stupid. Maybe it's because we don't really have this on stage sketch comedy as a show format on American TV. They have the same kind of thing in China, and I didn't like it there either.

I'm unable to download the episodes. The message mentions something about IPs and bandwidth (?) but my Russian is nowhere near good enough to understand it.
EDIT:
It might be a good idea to post the message :)

The problem isn't your Russian: it's that Infostore has some extremely convoluted money/energy system, and they don't explain it well. With half an hour of searching, I've been unable to figure it out; pages like http://faq.infostore.org/info/321060?refer=114-321025&rs=3&v =reply_list and cryptic references to online payment systems like e-gold definitely don't clear things up. There is no clear explanation of what энергии is, or how you get it.
The only things I've been able to gather:
1) It's rather opaque
2) It's rather non-standard
3) It looks dodgy
4) It does discriminate against non-Russian users
5) The files seems to be hosted in Kiev
I haven't tried downloading anything from the site, having no interest in the aforementioned show, so I have no idea how uniform (or not) the download policies are.

Energy is the site's "currency". You "earn" it doing things for the site like bringing in guests who will click around etc. You can swap it for favors or sell it. For 600 "energy" you'd pay 25 grivnas (Ukrainian currency) in the "black market".
I haven't tried downloading anything from the site nor do I intend to.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll have to look somewhere else since I'm definitely not going to be downloading anything from there anytime soon.

Hmm... I've never had any problems with infostore.org, I guess because I'm here in the Ukraine. Guess I need to download what I want before I leave...
