They make a good point, and it is a nice language with thousands of native speakers, but
the issue is if it will develop in a region or not.
What are your thoughts?

The second it becomes a natural language it will no longer be neutral (not that it is now). Also if it becomes a natural language it will become more complex. It will no longer be easy as native Esperanto speakers will not tolerate bad Esperanto.
