Yes, I am Ukrainian, but you know .. Ukrainian is used only in written form maybe. At least here, in the south of Ukraine where I live. :) I speak Russian, Ukrainian, English and a bit of German :) Белорусский и польский языки также мне понятны. :)
The word "покинул" has a bit of other way of using. You can say this word in such word combination as "покинуть родной дом, родные края" And the word "бросать" means "to give up" or "to throw"

The pronunciation is OK, the main area for improvement is intonation and word stresses - sometimes you stress the wrong word and it can hinder understanding you. I have exactly the same problem in English.

Well, no offence, but there are some grammar mistakes, too. Minor mistakes, I'd say, but still...

OK, here we go.
"Скажу немного русского язЫка. На русском язЫке конечно". 1) I capitalised the stresses you made. They are wrong. It should be на русском языкЕ. 2) The 1st phrase means "I will tell you a little bit of Russian language" This sounds very foreign and wrong. It should be Я бУду говорИть на рУсском языкЕ (I will always capitalise word stresses for you, OK?) I liked how you say word конечно - it was perfect.
"Но во первых, без сомнения вы спрашивали себя зачем я изучаю русский" Here all the stresses are right. Но во первых, без сомнения - wrong voice pitch, too high. сомнения - should not sound "sOmneniya" but sUmneniya (Russian А) - it's one of the main rules of Russian pronunciation. When O is not stressed, it becomes A.
I know it's difficult but work on the sound Я in the word себя.
"Не правда ЛИ" - the wrong word was stressed. It should be "Не ПРАВДА ли"
All the rest is better, just a couple of Grammar mistakes and Russian R of course. Sorry I do not have much time now for other details.
I'm in Canada but I'm Russian and just came here a year ago.
