This is just a quick question.

How would you change the ending(s) of the city name Петропавловск-Камчатский for use with the preposition в? Would both words in the name be affected? Or only the last one? Or maybe only the first? I've looked but can't seem to find this information anywhere.

Москва => в Москве

other cities that might be confusing:

For anyone else who's interested: here's more info on the subject than you'll ever need.

you use the preposition "в" in two declination cases.
1. acusative "where?" "куда?" where're you going? I'm going to Петропавловск-Камчатский.
- no change
2. local "where?" "где?" where're you? I'm in Петропавловске-Камчатском. Я в
- changes

but in the spoken language you can hear also "Я в Петропавловск-Камчатске" for the local
case and "Я еду в Петропавловск-Камчатск." for the acusative, and this is what you will
relly hear from people.
