Hi, My wife and I are teachers in Korea. In February we will leave Korea and spend 6 months in Indonesia learning the language. By the time we get there we would have studied the language for more than 700 hours, so I suspect that although we won't be fluent, we won't have too many difficulties in communicating with locals.
The problem we currently have is finding the ideal place to go. We don't necessarily have to set up roots in one place for 6 months, we'd be happy to experience a number of different places. We often find confilcting advice about places in Indonesia. Ideally, I'd really like to hear about your experiences of Indonesia and where you enjoyed the most.
