Gråsone (spelt with an s in Norwegian) is a perfectly good word. If saying "en gåsone mellom" is idiomatic or not, will probably depend a bit on the context. 2 persons have voted this message useful | |||

That's not true at all. Actually we use other phrases to convey that concept, we can say: Non esiste solo il bianco e il nero/non è tutto bianco o nero---> Black and white are not the only colours/not everything is either balck or white. Esistono anche sfumature di grigio---> there are also grey nuances. The two phrases above can also be put together, but we don't have literal translations.
