In The Big Bang Theory, Howard is shown speaking ASL and Raj learns it by the end of the episode.

Howard is actually quite the polyglot. Beside English and ASL, he speaks French, Mandarin, Russian, Persian, Arabic, and Klingon. The actor who plays him only speak English though, and may be some Latin.

That reminds me of the brilliant "Y Wers Gymraeg" spoof language class comedy which is
part of a more general (proper!) Welsh language series "Hwb" on S4C television, and
which gets uploaded to youtube on channel hwbtv:

I don't think you really have to know Welsh to appreciate the humour (which is just as
well, since I don't know much...yet).
