Can anyone point me to a site that has got good quality free Italian videos with transcripts/subtitles?

I am thinking like ZDF or DW for German...

In Italia is a show for learning Italian produced by
RAI. I believe all of the episodes have transcripts.

Is there any free site that has native-level contents with transcripts/subtitles for the hearing impaired, i.e. not just slow news or Italian learning materials?

Yes of course there is , look at the recent thread Italian movies with subtitles , i posted the link there . Or
you just go on rai tv ,then you go on programmi sottotitolati .
