No soy un experto en fonética, pero las descripciones me parecen un tanto correctas. Es
un buen inicio, pero por ej. diría que la descripción de la "j" es un tanto incorrecta,
al menos tomando en cuenta que cuando yo digo "yo", el sonido resultante es mas fuerte
que la "j" inglesa. Tal vez en otras variantes del español no haya tanta diferencia entre
la "y" y la "j" del inglés.

I'm not an expert in phonetics, but I would presume that the explanations are good
approximations. It's good reference material, but I could nitpick about the description
of certain items such as "j". The way I pronounce e.g. "yo" results in a stronger sound
than the English "j", so depending on the variant of Spanish we are talking about it
could be considered incorrect.

Explanations to get the pronunciation right may help, but they will only get you so far. Here is one resource I like for pronunciation comparisons between American English, Spanish and German:
