I'm looking for popular science or philosophy books in French. preferably not in translation.
By popular philosophy, I mean along the lines of Chomsky in English. And popular science, just
something I can read that doesn't have too much technical detail haha. Thanks in advance!

Sorry I noticed you wanted books after I posted all these links to magazines. However you should be able to do a search like this in google:

But you might just prefer to subscribe to some of those magazines with their RSS feeds and get updated articles daily to read, rather than books.

Why don't you want translations? Just read Chomsky in French.

Pierre Hadot has a book called Qu'est-ce que la philosophie antique? that's an easy read both in terms of content and language.
