Well I am spectacularly bad at (b)logging my progress.
So by way of an update I concentrated on Spanish until I got to my DELE (B2) and now use mainly native materials but now have a tutor to pick up my diction & prosody. I still do some shadowing. Polish: not actively studying any Polish now but purely talk to Polish friends German: got back to where I can read well enough and have simple conversations with natives. Russian: not done much on this. Japanese: easily read most of the Level 3 Kanji 1600 Persian: can read and knew a few hundred words I've watched nearly all the non-English material on TV that has been broadcast. 1 person has voted this message useful |
