I would like to try to improve my Russian, not only by reading (which I do anyway) but also actively through grammar or specialized vocabulary, or whatever. Has anyone tried any book intended for advanced learners and can comment on it?

'Modern Russian: An Advanced Grammar Course' also by Derek Offord (it might not come with a key, though) 'Advanced Russian' by Alexander D. Nakhimovsky and Richard L.
