I saw an interesting article on the BBC website today about Zhou Youguang, who helped invent pinyin- The man who helped 'simplify' Chinese. It's amazing how honest you can be when you're 106 years old!

Thanks for posting! I really enjoyed reading the article, because Youguang has a very interesting perspective on
history, having lived through so much of it!
Can you imagine growing up with emperors, yet living in our modern-day world? What a span of time! It boggles the
mind. I wonder how he feels when he sifts through memories...
