What is a suitable translation for the two ending particles か+ね combined?
I think I understand this construction but I have never had any formal teaching on it so I would like to confirm its usage and translation.
Would "do you?" with a negative feeling of doubt (low in intonation) be an appropriate English translation?
Some random example sentences, some take from google search results, some taken from TV.
貴方の考えは変わらないかね?
難しい文章ではないと思うんだけど意味わか らないのかね
君は幽霊を信じないのかね
君、娼婦と軍人とを一緒にするのかね?
Now if I try to translate these sentences, is my translation of かね right? Is the nuance correct?
1)Your thoughts/ideas don't change do they?
2)I don't think that it is a difficult sentence, but you don't (really) understand do you?
3)You don't believe in Ghosts do you?
4)So (now)you're comparing a soldier with a harlot (aren't you)?
(all low intonation, more of a statement than a question)
Just a little explanation of this construction please.

I've always thought of "かね" as "right?"

「かね/のかね」can reinforce an impolite rhetorical question which may express your dissatisfaction with something, it's only a rough translation: "is it possible that..." or "could it be said that...".
