Yay! PROGRESS!
I just had a 15 minute oral conversation (not text chat) with a Brazilian and only twice did I ask "Como se diz em inglês, por favor" and thrice I said "Fala mais devagar, por favor." NEW PLAN. Because the other one was incredibly ineffective:
Reading/Writing 1. Read an article in Portuguese and highlight words you don't know. These words will be your next vocabulary 2. Study vocabulary list by using Flashcards 3. Write a sentence with each vocabulary word 4. Write in lang-8 journal using that vocabulary and the vocab you already know Take note of corrections 5.Study verb tables/grammar Listening/Speaking 6. Listen to podcasts/watch movies in Portuguese 7. Play around with new Portuguese software 8. Do a lesson in Livemocha 9.
