If what Cainntear says is right then I think that *legally* you don't owe Hodder
anything as long as you don't record yourself teaching live students and get people
using the course to use the pause button (have I got that right, Cainntear?). Witness
Paul Noble. Of course from a *moral* point of view whether you owe the Thomas estate
anything depends on whether you charge for your course IMO.

If you want to take this further you should talk to Hodder and
Stoughton. They'll be able to figure out what needs to be paid to the Michel Thomas
estate, such as it is, how much they should take and how much you should get, and
they'll kit you out with some resources to get it to completion, if they like the
material.
However, what you have done so far is about half of the first CD and the faoundation
course would be 8 CDs, so you'd need to produce a good deal more before you could take
it to Hodder.

You can't unfortunately. I made it but didn't complete it. I did about 12-14 pages if I
recall but it was pretty gruelling. There's not enough 'layover'(?) between English and
Korean so it's very difficult to keep the language consistent, authentic and accurate
which was one of the main purposes of the Michel Thomas course. Because of the lack of
similarities between the language, if you try to keep it consistent, you sacrifice
accuracy/authenticity but if you try to keep it accurate/authentic, you sacrifice
consistency.
If I ever re-start it, I'll post some more of it.
(Here's some random part of it though if you think it helps):
At what time?
What time do you want it?

What time do you want to be here?
What time do you want to meet?
What time do you want to meet there?
What time do you want to do it?
What time can you be here/come tonight?
What time can you be here today?
