The older 'Italian Without Toil' is available online for free if you know where to look. Its not that I'm encouraging piracy though, but the older version is out of print and its difficult to get hold of a hard-copy of it.

Thanks for the info. I don't want commit time and energy and sound like I just came from a time machine. Has anybody had any problems with using the language taught in the old 'without toil' books?

I'm currently using Italian Without Toil (in English). I'm not having trouble understanding the explanations, but I'm afraid it's too old and the vocabulary is outdated. Should I change to "O Novo Italiano sem Esforço"? It's a bit overpriced here.

I could import or search for Italian With Ease (90's), but it would be a little expensive too.

Just use the Without Toil. It's fine. Any language that is a little bit old sounding will fall out of your head once you move onto native materials.

I also have this version copied from a friend of mine and I have been desperately searching for an English version of it but it have tried in vain. However, I am using Google translate and it is not bad at all though it requires a lot of patience.

A part from it . I also have 94 MP3 lessons without transcript. I am wondering if it is also from Assimil or other language program. Here are some lessons.

1 : Viaggio in seconda classe
2:Una scampagnata
2:In commune
3: La partita di calcio
89: Una partenza
90: Un avvertimento

Would much appreciate it if anyone have the transcript and willing to share.
