I knew that there's nothing really new in language teaching methodology, things just come round in cycles, but I was amazed to read that introduction about the attitude to teaching from 1881.

Strangely enough, I got the second book in that series to work in iBooks. All you have to do is download it onto your computer in ePub format, drag it into iTunes, and then proceed to sync it. It'll show up in iBooks automatically after that in the same format a normal iBook is in. Works pretty sweetly too, I might add. Now to read it all the way through...
