Lingaphone, Assimil, Spoke Russian 1 and 2, and Modern Russian 1 and 2 are all great for Russian. The choice of which is a matter of learning style. If you are want only a short course the State Department FAST course is good. If you want spoken Russian that is current use, the Survival Russian: A course in conversational Russian / Говорите правильно! Курс русской разговорной речи [CD (mp3) + Book by N. B Karavanova. This book is a great addition to any of the first four I list.
I know it is not one course. One self study course by itself when learning a language leave me missing things and having no instructor to help fill the blanks. 5 persons have voted this message useful | |
