Thanks for the answers, LangOfChildren, I appreciate it.
I really should focus on Esperanto, Spanish, and French, but Lojban is starting to look really appealing. I guess I'll add it to the list of languages I'll dabble in.
How long would you say it takes to learn the basics?

I got the place structure thing in one day and some tens of minutes after I started the lesson I was already making basic bridis with tunta and klama. The lo-le-la concept is also quite easy to understand(but its not exactly definite/indefinite article)

I've bookmarked lojban.org and one of their courses that I'll take a look at when I get the chance.
I've heard one Esperanto promoter say you can learn the basics in 20 hours. I was wondering if there were any such claims for Lojban.
