I'm making a new log, so that I don't have to have two separate logs and bother messing with that. Also, my other one wasn't a real log, because somehow it just wouldn't register it /as/ as log. I have no idea why.
Now this will be for both my German and Russian studying. I decided to get back into German and stop putting it off, yet again ¬_¬.
As of right now. I am as this stage in:
German - Michel Thomas Foundation CD4-1. I just recently finished the 3rd CD.
Russian - Michel Thomas Advanced CD2-8.
German:
So far I am just relearning some of the elementary words, that I previously knew. It is easy for right now. I still have a lot to remember and it's helping, even though I don't like the way MT pronounces the German words, but I'm still going to do it. I need to reinforce it and relearn.
Russian:
I have advanced a lot in the course. I've learned a lot of words, and they are quite a bit complex and complicated. I've been told by a few people on here, and on the course the Aspect forms in Russian. I'm using it a lot now, but still have some trouble with it. I didn't expect it to be learned overnight. Some words that I have learn have given it's own share of difficulty. I'm still getting tricked by the "they" form, and since I've been introduced to the impolite form. It's going to take some time to get it down. I've been moving fast in it, except when I got introduced to the aspect forms. I'm getting a little down on myself about it, but that's usually what happens when you mess up and forget the stuff you should know by now. I just won't let it get to me and continue and practice and practice. It's the perseverance, that will get me through the rough spots and keep going on.
So hopefully I can learn more ways of expressing myself in Russian and get to my goal of B1/B2 by the end of the year, if it is possible? Maybe, just to the level where I can be able to converse decently; be able to listen to songs and understand what is mostly said; the same thing with the television and reading. Now, I should be able to get to B2 by the end of the year in German, or maybe to the middle of B2/C1? (I can dream can't I? ;D)
Edit: Ugh this stupid forum still won't allow me to create another log, other than making the stupid thing as a normal thread. Any help?
