I haven't tried it, but their advertising methods seem despicable. They've registered a bunch of "review" sites with URLs like rocket-spanish-reviews.com and try to pass them off as legitimate unbiased reviews. Why would anyone register a URL like that and write a whole website JUST to give an "unbiased" review of Rocket Spanish, giving it 5 stars out of 5?
LSLC used the same advertising techniques, along with fake reviews on Amazon.com, etc. I wouldn't trust these people at all. Of course, the actual lessons may be great, but the people in charge of promoting the product really seem unpleasant.

You can check out Level 2 here:
http://www.rocketlanguages.com/spanish/level2/
I didn't read it all, but just skimming it, it seems like it might be dialogs to practice more. If Level 1 is for beginners, intermediates, and advanced, I would guess the dialogs in Level 2 would be for advanced students, however I didn't read it so I can't say for sure.
Don't know anything about Level 1 or 2, so I can't say whether they are good or bad.
Lance

If you do a google search for "Rosetta Stone" you'll see a "Sponsored Link" on the side that says "Rosetta Stone Sucks!" It leads you to this page: http://spanishsoftwarereview.com/
Notice that it says on top "We compare the best software so you don't have to." Practically telling you not to think for yourself. Also notice the pictures of the boxes of the different programs: while you can click the 'Rocket Spanish' box to go to their website, the Rosetta Stone image is not clickable at all. At the bottom of the page, there are "reviews" (probably fake testimonials) and links to purchase the program.
For a website that calls itself an objective review ("Top Spanish Reviews! We compare the best software so you don't have to."), this is dishonest and unfair. Not to mention they purchased google links that said "Rosetta Stone Sucks!"
How about some nice, honest, advertising, Rocket Spanish?

I have both LSLC 1&2 and Pimsleur 1&2. I'm a beginner, but its pretty clear to me that Pimlseur is far superior. I also purchased Rosetta Stone, which is probably the best method I've tried.
I tried the first few lessons (free) of Rocket Spanish. It seemed okay, but I think Pimsleur is clearly better.
I wish I saved my money (and time) on all the other methods and just went with:
Rosetta Stone
Pimsleur
FSI (I haven't started, but it looks thorough)

I don't know what's actually unique with this program. It claims to be effective because it's interactive. But aren't audio-based language programs supposed to be interactive? I mean they prompt you to repeat after the speaker, then ask questions you're supposed to answer. Yes it has a lot of supplemental activities but you can get them through the internet, too. If I were to choose between this and pimsleur, I'd choose this one since for a lot cheaper price you can get almost the same value. Can't say the same with LSLC, which provides a lot more value.

I am trying the trial version of Arabic right now and I am extremly disappointed:
It is Egyptian Arabic what I have not read before and I think that should be announced (I
know Egyptian is a very important dialect, but still I'd like to decide myself which one
to learn and if I would buy a course for Arabic I would want it to be Standard, otherwise
I would look for an Egyptian Arabic course - BTW I had the same problem with the
Arabic101 podcasts...I had not much interest in studying the maghreb dialect in the
period). The grammar is to simply for me, the vocabulary leaves you with a lot to
guess..I would have preferred a written list. The pace is too slow and I have the impression that by the end of the beginner level you have very very limited skills. There
are very few exercises, boring dialogues. Actually I don't see barely anything good about
it...but as there are trial version, try it out and see if it works for you

There is a guy in my meetup group who has used only Rocket Spanish and he can speak fairly well at an intermediate level. Everyone I have heard of who has used Rocket Spanish has been satisfied. I don't know much about the program so I am not personally vouching for it.
