Hello, good people.I am from Serbia and I`m trying to learn mandarin chinese.I am using Assimil Chinese, some FSI materials and some mandarin learning books from Belgrade Faculty Of Philology.I am pretty satisfied with Assimil, but that`s only for beginners in mandarin.I like FSI,but it lacks characters(only pinyin).I am totally disappointed with the books I got from faculty.I heard that Germans,Dutch and Russians are among the best in the world in mandarin learning methods and materials. Is it true?I`d like someone from those countries to tell me something about it and eventually recommend some good books to me.The books can be in English and russian(I understand russian reasonably good),and I would even try those in German(I`m learning it a little).
