I forgot to answer your question - for anyone looking for region free dvd and bluray players - I'm not sure, but
think it might be technically illegal. It's like we're only supposed to play the stuff in our region. I don' t
understand why they don't just make all players region free everywhere.
I had a friend com over and program my regular cheap dvd player to play all regions. I'm sure if you call around
(if you're looking to buy a new dvd player) there are some salesmen who will do it for you, in the store, if you ask
nicely.
Don't try to change the region on your mac computer - after a few plays on say region 4, it will 'lock' on that
region and not allow you to go back to region 1. They don't want you switching around.
