Just received this terrific book in the mail and thought I would share:
Click Here for: Limits of Language: Almost Everything You Didn't Know About Language and Languages
And here is a sample of the first 33 pages of the book:

I shall pine for an e-copy, since I'm now on an e-book only diet. Looks fantastic... I'm jealous.

I hereby 100% REVOKE my recommendation of this book as I just got to the chapter on Polyglots and there is an entire section devoted to the genius that is Ziad Fazah. For me, that calls into question the factual nature of everything else written in the book!
I cannot believe that the rumor is still perpetuating itself!
I apologize to everyone who wasted their money. I shall be burning my copy.

To be honest, I was a little surprised by the original post since a few reviewers on Amazon had already noted problems with the book's contents.

Can you explain this a little bit further because I really do not understand what you’re aiming at with your
complaint. What rumour? How can a rumour sabotage the entire ethos of a book? Was not the other chapters in it
of any worth? I’m not saying you’re wrong in your conclusion that the book is worth to be burnt (But let’s not go
there: Wo man Bücher brennt, verbrennt man am ends noch Menschen!) — merely just curious what is wrong with
it.

Instead of burning the book you could just sit down and read it as entertainment.
