Almost everything has Chinese subtitles, so no thanks. As the first post states, I'm looking for shows that also have
english, and I don't mind getting the English versions when I'm back in the US. And I'm not interested in anime.

I'd recommend Autumn's Concerto, and this website: http://www.mysoju.com/#TD
you can scroll down to see all the Taiwanese dramas with ratings, and you can also watch the dramas on the site.
However, the quality can be pretty bad, so I'd try to find the drama on youtube first.
