Hi everybody!
I am still wondering how one is actually supposed to use FSI, and how one should use it (or how you have used it) in a self-study invironment.
I'd be especially interested in Francois' response :)

PS: If anyone has any experience, how would you recommend me using FSI Serbo-Croatian?

More seriously, it was never designed as a full course, so it probably won't work as your sole source of learning. Because none of the other published courses are likely to match it too well, I'd recommend working on another course and then following with FSI as revised or reinforcement.

Well, I think the method of Sybaritic is pretty much okay, but you shouldn't take breaks (not even one day per week). Listening, reading and just working with the language each and every day is the key to fluency.
