I'm puzzled -- just want to make sure I'm learning it correctly, please check if below is correct:

todavia -- "still" in affirmative and questions, "yet" in negative and negative questions

todavia estoy aqui -- I'm still here
¿todavia estas aqui? -- are you still here?
todavia no ha llegado -- he hasn't arrived yet
¿todavia no ha llegado? -- hasn't he arrived yet?

ya -- "already" in affirmative and questions
ya ha llegado -- he's already arrived
¿ya ha llegado? -- has he arrived yet?

How about ya in negative sentences?

Thanks!!

JuanM,

Seeing that you are from Colombia, could you please tell me where I can listen to Colombian radio online? The Colombian accent is supposed to be one of the most easily understood Spanish accents and so could be a good model for those us who want to acquire a neutral accent.

Zygimantas,

Apologies for butting into your thread.

Sure. Here are a few:

http://www.hjck.com/
http://www.lafm.com.co/
http://www.rcnradio.com/
http://www.caracol.com.co/

I like the first one. Though it features mostly music, the spoken segments and programs are of very high quality.

You can use it to mean 'no more' or 'no longer'

Ya no hace tanto calor
Ya no voy a clases
Ya no hay cafe
Ya no pido dinero a mis papis
