I have copies of all the Harry Potter books in French. I was wondering if the audiobook is exactly the same as the written books or different. Can anyone give me advice?

Chamber of secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban are missing a few sentences/paragraphs here and there but for the most part they are identical to the text.

Jimmymac,
So do you know where the audio for the books are available? I would also be interested
in them.

Well that depends. If your willing to pay you'll find them on amazon.fr. If you're more thrifty then you'll be able to download them on any torrent.
If you're planning on shadowing a French audio book then I'd reccommend Les ames vagabondes (the host) by Stephenie Meyer. It's 27 hours long and unlike the Harry Potters it contains no literary tenses.

Thanks you. Although I myself am not a huge Stephanie Meyer fan, I may need to get the
book. Is is the same translation in audio as the printed translation?
Also why on earth is Harry Potter so expensive?

Yeah it's the same as the book. It's far better than the twilight series if thats what your worried about. At the very least it's aimed towards adults rather than teenage girls.
The HP audio books are stupidly expensive but if you can find them cheaper elsewhere they'll certainly help with your French.

I've been using Harry Potter I audiobooks in French and Spanish and I just love the
readers voices... I've become very fond of them!
