I have almost the entire set. I am missing Basic Russian Course Module I and II. I also am sure I am missing a few tapes. This set includes many more books than I have seen mentioned on this forum before. It primarily consists of books about the size of Schaum's outlines. About 90 of them. At least 200 cassettes. I am interested in obtaining the missing parts. One problem with the tapes is that they are largely unlabelled, so it is required to listen to them at least a little to label them. (or their digital files which they tranform into).
I am willing to work with others in making sure that this information is properly archived. Not equipped to scan (in this quantity) but maybe something can be done
if we put our heads together. Write me. I am slightly NW of Chicago. Propinquity
would be most convenient.
Cheers,
Bradley

Prometheus:
The DLI Russian course can be downloaded at:
http://rapidshare.com/files/273139491/DLIRussian.zip.001
http://rapidshare.com/files/273182647/DLIRussian.zip.002
http://rapidshare.com/files/273207797/DLIRussian.zip.003
http://rapidshare.com/files/273220754/DLIRussian.zip.004
Check the "DLI Links" thread a bit further down in this same forum for details/comments. You can probably get the materials you're lacking from there; I'm not certain these links have all the audio, though, so you might be able to upload material that may be missing from the above links.

I have not seen the Princeton one, but it is hard for me to imagine a more comprehensive one than DLI. I have started to download the links above, but I am certain that this can only be a fraction of the DLI Russian course. I will post list of what is included and complete listing for course shortly.

OK. I have downloaded the files. It is the Basic Russian course through Module XIV.
Looking at the whole set...
Phase III Volumes I-IV
Grammar Blocks 1-10
Enrichment Blocks 1-10
Military Blocks 1-8
Grammar Reference 2 volumes
Glossary and Indexes
Basic Situations 2 volumes
Russian Pictorial Dictionary 2 volumes
Military situations
Workbooks for all the texts
Readers
Reader Exercises
Taped Exercises
and probably a few more. So I would estimate that this
is about 1/3 of the printed material. No estimate yet
on the tapes.
But it is very nice that this covers the first books that
I was missing. I will attempt to work with other people to
improve the quality and quantity of material.
I will start investigating converting the PDF via OCR and
some manual work to make file much smaller, cleaner, and
searchable.

I'm been going through Assimil Russian Without Toil course and it is truly excellent, if you find FSI/DLI style drills to be a bit boring.

It would be great if you could make this material available. At lot of these DLI materials are really useful, I would love to be able to use these materials when I start to work on my Russian again. Thanks for your efforts.

Note for others: all four of the above files need to be recombined before unzipping. HJSplit is recommended in another thread - available at cnet.com While others have reported success by selecting all four files at the same time in 7-zip. (see messages 52-57 in the "DLI Links" thread.)
