Reading is great for building vocabulary, and I second Trent's advice to seek out native materials (which it sounds like you're more than ready for). I would suggest finding a newspaper or following a well written blog in Spanish about something you find interesting, and it won't be long before you understand a great deal more of what you hear. In my opinion, reading up to date media made by natives and for natives will teach you far more current and useful phrases than any book aimed at language students will, no matter how advanced it claims to be.
