While searching for French in Action stuff on Amazon.com, I found a listing for "Jules et Jim Interactif DVD-ROM: An Interactive Film Companion to Your French Program" which is by Pierre J. Capretz.
You are supposed to be able to watch the film while looking at the script. Has anyone ever used this? Just curious because I'm impressed with FIA. 1 person has voted this message useful | |

I have it - its a dvd-rom that breaks down the film into units. The units have subtitles in French, grammar explanations and cultural explanations given by Pierre Capretz. There is also a conversation module where you take on the role of Jules or Jim or Catherine and mimic the conversation in the film.
I wouldn't say its necessary but it was doing the rounds with liquidation sale booksellers a while back and it is fun to go to occasionally (if you can stand Truffaut films, that is...) 1 person has voted this message useful |
