You should try download some japanese podcast from iTunes, it's totally free and there's a very wide range of podcasts you can subscribe to.

So I'm not the only one who likes Akiko Yano :D Well, I mostly like her Piano Nightly album.
For pop, I think Maaya Sakamoto sings quite clearly.
